Golf New Zealand is a not-for-profit trust with its core mission to grow, lead and support golf as a national game. They wanted us to devise illustrative content around the representation of diversity and skills within golf, including age, gender and location. They also requested a separate video for Love Golf Futures with a focus on their younger audience. Both concepts were to be developed in a light-hearted way and targeted at the next generation of golfers.
We created illustrations that showcased the variety of people within the industry who love and play golf. These were used in Golf New Zealand’s strategy document, general report, health booklet and coaching manual. Targeting the younger generation, we wanted the content to be fun and approachable, displaying players from different demographics - including the occasional animal. We also incorporated different geographical locations and places that were iconic to New Zealand. With this in mind, we produced a Love Golf Futures video capturing children having fun while playing the sport, which was executed across Golf New Zealand’s social channels. Another extension of our work with Golf New Zealand was producing a range of different videos incorporating the love for golf as a sport.
